The above Microsoft article while not specific to Windows 10 also has the same advice as the Apple article. I also found this http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-networking/l2tp-regi stry-change-to-work-with-nat-t-not/f864b… which again seems to suggest the same registry change for Windows with comments suggesting this does work for Windows 10.
